Digital commerce provider strengthens executive team to further accelerate international expansion and digital commerce innovation.
NANTERRE, France and SAN FRANCISCO, California (November 9, 2012) – Digital commerce provider Nexway announced that it has appointed Gilles Fabre as Managing Director.
An experienced international e-commerce executive, Mr. Fabre’s primary mission will be to accelerate the company’s international expansion. Mr. Fabre’s key focuses will include identification of the most attractive business opportunities, market launch of relevant new managed digital commerce solutions, and development of strategic partnerships that will ensure long-term development for the company. Mr. Fabre will lead an international team of seven executives, based in Paris, San Francisco, Tokyo and Frankfurt.

Prior to joining Nexway, Mr. Fabre was Deputy CEO of Smartbox™, now Smart&co™, a global leader in the pre-packaged gift experience market with annual revenues of 350 million euros at the time. Earlier, Mr. Fabre was head of e-commerce and CRM at home improvement retailer Lapeyre™, a subsidiary of Saint Gobain™, and before that co-created French CRM agency Come&Stay™. Mr. Fabre started his career at strategy consulting firm McKinsey™ where he spent five years in the @McKinsey lab focused on digital strategies. Mr. Fabre holds an MSc in Management from HEC Business School in Paris.
